Concept

I grew up watching The Sound of Music. Its story, music, and characters are certainly enrapturing, but I have always been so enamored, in particular, by the overall atmosphere of Romance in its essence. These are just some simple pieces attempting to visualize some of the spiritual qualities of Romance from the movie in a somewhat Impressionist manner, "The Sound of Music", inspired directly by some of the most iconic scenes - The Dance Hall, The Courtyard, and The Garden. An ode to the Sound of Music.
