background information & researches

Founded by Seven H. Lee in 2008, the firm revolves heavily around his principle values and ideals as the company’s central guidelines. Most notably, Divin is famous for its forward thinking mentality in regards to technology within the workplace. Numerous researches indicate that Virtual Reality and Artificial Reality technologies are going to become the future of our society. According to an expert of the AR industry by BlueLabel Labs: “AR and VR is slowly, but surely, assimilating into our lives with each additional feature, with the healthcare and corporate industry being one of the biggest adopters in recent decades.” Believing firmly in creating the most magical and memorable experiences for clients, Steven insisted in incorporating every work station and interactive area within the building with VR, AR, and Holographic Imaging capabilities. These tool not only drastically enhance the designers’ raw prowess in creative input, it also allows immersive and engaging experiences for all users, employees and clients alike.

For people who are disabled, VR offers access into an otherwise prohibited world... Immersive technologies have a unique ability to drive a deeper connection with audiences creating powerful and memorable experiences. It’s the VR, AR and MR integrations that will win the hearts and minds of the people.

Research continued

In addition, the client wishes to change the company working culture in upkeep with recent times. As many researches have suggested in past years in response to the mass migration of corporate culture gearing towards a more open and collaborative environment – it is important to keep a delicate balance between privacy and openness. In an article by Dana Coester titled: “How to design workspaces that spur collaboration”, she talks about the importance of balancing between “me” and “we” space within a working environment. Cautioning against the overzealous and even invasive adoption of collaborative atmosphere, she argues that oppressive “us time” sessions leave people disinterested, less connected, and wondering if they actually contributed anything of value to the event.” (Coester, 2017) Therefore, it was important to the company that this new headquarter – while encouraging the collaboration and dialoguing between employees in sparking creativity in the workplace, must also be capable of sustaining the same level of quality and efficiency.
